I've read that the roads aren't real safe for walking but is it possible to walk ftom Saphire beach to Smith beach along the shore? It looks possible from the satelite view. The safari bus runs in the opposite direction, correct? Thanks for any input
Bill

Not possible. Dense bush with lots of "catch 'n' keep", private property with very large guard dogs, etc. Taxi will cost you all of $4 and you could get a safari coming back.

Safari's do not run a regular schedule. Rent a car, Trust me.

The OP has already asked about safaris in another thread and knows they don't run on a regular schedule. He may not want to rent a car (which in my opinion is a mistake) but if he wants to go to Smith Bay Park from Sapphire, the option of returning via safari is a perfectly reasonable one as the safaris are very frequent on the Smith Bay Road all day long.
