*Is it possible to walk to Paradise Point rather than taking the tramway? I heard there is a road that winds to the top. What is the name of the road and where/how can I find it? I'm not sure how far of a walk this would be and we are all exercise nuts. Would appreciate a response.

Last time I drove up there I did see one gentleman walking; albeit he was walking down, but walking nonetheless. I wouldn't try it but if you are a "exercise nut" go for it. Just make sure to take some water! I'm not sure exactly how long the road is nor can I help you with the name. I can tell you it is the road going directly up to the left of Shipwreck Tavern across from Havensight. Hope that helps!

Hello Koni,

You can walk to Paradise Point rather then taking the tramway sure. There is a roads that winds up and up and up, windy some more, up and up, very steep, but it goes there. Not sure the road has a name, Paradise Point road I would guess (we locals are terriable with street names, and steet numbers, we use trees, and buildings to give directions). So walk out of the Havensight area, look for the Paradise Point Sign that points up the road, or if you miss the road and see the actually tramway, it is right there, and is brightly painted, hard to miss, then ask them where the road is. Otherwise if you find it right off the bat, start walking up. Be prepared its quite a hike. The walk to the actual road from Havensight is not far at all. The road it self up hill is pretty good hike, take water!!!
