Hi
Yes I read the weather link on this page 🙂 But what do I really expect when I get there? Water warm enough? I expect a bit of rain but hopefully not pouring for full day. Are the many cruise ships in, yes I checked that link only goes up to October 🙂 Thanks

Yes its warm or us New Englanders who need the warmth wouldn't be heading back to STJ next month ourselves. The temps barely change all year. Rain- the same thing, you never really know but you are out of hurricane season then, just keep your fingers crossed, enjoy the warmth regardless, and if it does rain, look for double rainbows after it passes. Nothing could be as bad as Jamaica was for us a couple of years back when it rained for HOURS- never have had that happen in STJ on 3 previous trips! Cruise ships only come in on certain days I think, someone should be able to tell you that when you arrive.

Hello BMJ,

The water is warm enough in November. As for rain, November is the month we get the most rain... followed by October. And we've had a rainy October so far. Today it’s pouring down. Yesterday was overcast. Our rain showers aren't typically all day showers, but rather short early morning ones. That said if we are going to have a day or two of all day rain its usually in November/October. So expect warm, sunny weather with the chance of rain that possibly might last the whole day. 😉

Cruise Ships; 2 to 3 ships a day is pretty typical for November. You can view a projected schedule at http://www.cruisecal.com/dnn/Default.aspx?tabid=31.

It's a little disappointing to hear that the weather may not be great in the October time frame. We were due to be there in May of 2006 but now have switched to October since this trip will become our honeymoon.

And I understand that there are a lot of places closed at that time. I'm starting to think that we should rething the entire plan. 🙁
