Staying at Ft Recovery for one night before a charter cruise.

Where should a family with kids 12, 9 and 7 have dinner that night? We're traveling all that day so really don't want a long (expensive) taxi ride.

Thanks!

Hello Jakester,

This site and message board focuses on the USVI. You might visit http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=bvi for a good BVI message board and ask your question there.

The Jolly Roger just past the ferry dock. Excellent food for the adults & enough things on the menu for the kids. It's also casual & fun.

Does Pussers still have a restaurant on the west end. If I recall correctly, it wasn't far from the ferry dock.

The Pusser's in Cruz Bay closed, but I believe there's still one in the West End. It's located right on the dock. Pusser's is lots of fun, good food too - and let's not forget to mention the painkllers!

I respectfully wish to make a correction. Pussers' in West End (Soper's Hole) Tortola is across the bay from the main ferry terminal or dock. There is a large dinghy dock & marina on the Pusser's side of the bay. I mention this because it would be a fairly long walk or a short taxi ride over to Pussers'.

That's true; the ferry dock is across the bay. There is a dock for smaller boats in front of Pusser's, if I remember correctly.

I highly recommend the Jolly Roger....the food is the best on the west end...Pussers is Pussers, bar food. yea it's an okay atmosphere but the Jolly Roger has atmosphere and great food. You won't be disappointed.
