Again, Noreen, you'll love the Westin! Very "family friendly", and you and yours just might get sick of the huge iguanas that seem to run the place!- Don't forget, you're just passing through! Lots of beautiful exotic birds, water sports, great pool, and lovely sunset, as well.
Rent a Jeep!

If they love the water, plants, views, pools, parks anf things like that they will be happy. If they are into high tech video games, fast food, and malls they will hate it.

My 12 & 16 year old love the Westin St John! They enjoy their vacations anyway, but that is their favorite resort bar none and so we are going back again in right after school gets out for 2 weeks. They have a good program to engage kids, and while mine didn't sign up in advance for anything, they joined the water volleyball games and some beading spontaneously....since the pool is so popular, the kids activities tend to be based there and kids gravitate over to them. They also have movie nights for kids right on the beach, which my girls enjoyed. LOTS of kids during school vacations, very family friendly as Mahojim mentioned, and the staff was great. Plus, my girls loved the 3 trampolines and the climbing structure in the water as well as using the floating mats for hours. You'll have a great time.

I have checked out Westin, but it seems really pricey, especially for us to bring our 3 kids with us..
We could rent a whole villa for less than the price of the Westin.....
Why do people choose Westin over renting a Villa? Just curious...

We own a couple of timeshare weeks at the Westin (3 bedroom pool villas), so that explains why we stay there. You might want to check into renting a villa from an owner, that way you get the best of both worlds: access to all Westin amenities and the spaciousness of a villa. There are several sites which list villas for rent.

We rented a villa at the Westin for our upcoming trip - last week of February. You can get a lot of deals these days which make them very affordable.

we looked on redweek but ultimately booked through stjohncondos.com .....they are very responsive and helpful.

For us it makes sense as we have the comforts of a villa while having the Westin facilities for our son.
