What rental company allows their vehicles to be ferried?

We would like to take a rental car to st thomas for a day to explore that island from st. John. or vice-versa.

No rental car companies on St John allow their vehicles to be taken to St Thomas. The only St Thomas rental car company which specifically disallows their vehicles to be taken to St John from St Thomas is Hertz.

Discount Car Rental allows 4WD vehicles to be taken to St. John.

No agency in STJ that I know of allows cars to STT via the barge.
My guests usually use Budget and Dependable Car (www.dependablecar.com), have been happy with their service and vehicles which they allow to go to STJ on the barge/car ferry.
