Visiting St. Thomas from December 30th through January 6th. Wondering if there are any parties, concerts, events scheduled during this time.

You can check the free weekly advertising paper, "Island Trader" which comes out in hard copy every Thursday, is available at most stores and supermarkets and can also be viewed online via a link at The Virgin islands Daily News (www.virginislandsdailynews,com). The publication, "St Thomas This Week" is another source of listings and you can find this at the airport upon your arrival. If you're staying at a hotel during your visit, the concierges will also have suggestions. Have fun.

One event on STT on Dec. 31, 2011 is the Second Annual Old New Year's Festival. Noon to Midnight. Yacht Haven Grande. Family events and activities from noon to 4pm and then music, dancing, live entertainment from 7pm until midnight. More info. call 340-774-9500
