Where is best to stay STT or STJ

We are planning on vacationing in the VIs. We like the night life and beaches during the day. Where is the best place to stay STT or STJ?

If you want both I would say stay in Red Hook area of STT
Some very nice beaches close at hand
A short ferry ride to STJ which shines in the beach column IMHO
Better night life in Red Hook
But the ferry is cheap and runs back and forth
great food on both
Cost are less in STT

You will not be sorry with either choice

How much do you want to spend per night? That will definitely help us to suggest places for you....I agree with Tom about Red Hook...maybe Sapphire Beach Resort, The Elysian, Secret Harbor, The Ritz Carlton...maybe one of the Villas?
