Here's the problem- We're flying into STT from STX for the day, Wed. 11/29. We need to be back at the airport no later than 7:00PM for our 7:30PM flight on Cape Air's last fight of the day. Momabear and I would like to have a nice dinner on STT but the restaurants I've checked don't start serving until 6:00PM. I've checked Banana Tree grill, Off the Hook, Mafolie's. I just don't want to have to watch the clock while I eat. So, any suggestions?

Don't think many will be open in time. Check out Hook Line & Sinker, French Town area. Close to the airport but not sure if they open at 4 or 6. Not as upscale as others you mentioned but great spot Food and view wise. If that doesn't work The Greenhouse Cafe would be my next choice.

Cuzzin's serves straight through from lunch to dinner.

Thanks, Bobcside and EE. I'll call Hook, Line and Sinker for their serving hours. Cuzzin's is good and Greenhouse will do in a pinch. I was just looking to try some place I haven't been to before. How does Iggie's compare to Greenhouse?

There's also Tickle's Dockside Pub at Crown Bay Marina - simple food, reasonable prices, great view of the boats!

Thanks, Judy. The plan is to have breakfast at Tickles. I got my $20 gift certificate from Alex.
I called Hook, Line and Sinker last night. The kitchen is closed from 4 to 6 to transition to dinner.

I'll respond to your Iggie's/Greenhouse question since nobody else has 🙂

To me, the food at Iggie's is much better than The Greenhouse. I've eaten there several times, and have never been disappointed. Their fried calamari is some of the best I've ever had, and I've eaten it all over the world. Nice and crisp and tastefully seasoned. I took out-of-town visitors to their All You Can Eat Crab night, and they were impressed. You're also right on the beach at Iggie's, so the view is better. I've never been too happy with selections from The Greenhouse, but it's convenient and the price is right, but that's about it.

Thanks ms411. I agree with you on the Greenhouse. It's OK , but there is better food out there. I'll call Iggie's to find out how early they serve dinner.
