Hi again! We booked our airfare today, may 30-june 6. We are thinking East end will be best for our first trip ever to St Thomas. What do you think? Does anyone have anything to recomend? We want to use VRBO so we have a full kitchen and we must have a balcony with ocean views. Cleanliness if VERY important to us too. A king bed and pull out sofa would be fine for our family. If you have any recommendations please let me know! We have been looking at sappire and cowpet. What about point pleasant?

I'm familiar with this Sapphire beachfront condo which belongs to friends and in which a visiting friend of mine stayed last year where she was very happy. I checked the calendar and it's avaiable on the dates you're looking for:

Bill's condo is another lovely one, newly renovated:

Thanks! We will definitely consider both of those. Is Elysian bay nice?

It's OK but in comparison to Sapphire is a very poor cousin. 😀

If you haven't seen this already, here's the Sapphire webcam which keeps many frequent visitors going until their next return visit!

Sorry about that! For some reason I thought you had two and not three children. The one you linked also looks very nice!

I have had family use VRBO - 84812 - beautiful and very well kept, with the owners living on island any problem is taken care of promptly and they are also a great help in trip planning. This is at Cowpet Bay - 3 bdrm.

Cowpet 3 bedrooms are very spacious. I 've been in few that are 4*, travertine, SS appliances, lovely WI antique furnishing, larger balconies. Each is indivually owned, so some are not as nice. Do your home work. Ask questions. Possible downsides beach isn't the best, not bad but not great either. I don't think Cowpet has pool. But some owners may have access to the Elysian's pool. Ask about the pool befor you book. For me a pool is must have.
