Hi all
My husband and I will be travelling to STT in less than 2 weeks.. today we decided
we would take a day trip to one of the BVI.. i would like some advice on which island would
be best for just a day trip.. we just want to go to the beach and snorkel. So maybe some input on
perhaps which one is easiest to get to and easiest to get around. I started looking at the ferry
schedule listed on here etc. I have no knowledge on which BVI might be ok for us...

Any help would be great! Thx..:)

Alisha: If you have never been to the BVI, I think one of the boats (New Horizons, Limnos, Pirate's Penny/Stormy Petrel, etc) that take you on a whirlwind tour is a good idea. Most of the snorkeling is off shore- the Indians, the Caves, etc. A day trip will let you see a lot of the BVI so that you can choose what you would like to see in depth the next trip!

If you just want to go to a beach and go snorkeling, the USVI has more choices. IMHO...(tu)

I was going to suggest a boat trip too. You'll get in snorkeling on the way and probably end up at my favorite beach -- White Bay on Jost Van Dyke.

Thanks.. excellent ideas.. a boat trip it is! Gives us an overview of the area.. just a relaxing day, with a
little bit of snorkelling and soaking up the sun. ..stopping at a couple different spots...its perfect...
I am so glad I asked for suggestions...lol.
Now I am excited to get this planned.. cant wait!
Thx again!! 🙂

Make sure you get it all arranged ahead of time, because a lot of boat captains are off-island this time of year. There are still plenty of trips to go around -- as we noticed when we went to Jost one afternoon!
