Good morning,
We have decided to bring the lap top. Just to stay in touch with people. You know send pictures.....make everyone jealous. Absolutely no working! But we were wondering, other than connections who has WI-Fi on STJ? Do any of the cafes/bars/ restaurants have free Wi-Fi? Thanks 😎

You can sit in the park, right across from the ferry dock, and pick up WiFi for free. Or, what I like to do, is go to Pastory Gardens, a mile up Centerline Road and have a drink, watch the sunset, and play around on your computer. They have several outlets around the place too, so you can plug in and not kill your battery. The Tap Room in Mongoose also offers free WiFi and A/C!

Some of these are free and some are not, but here's the list I have. It may or may not be current.

Surf da Web, at the Marketplace. Eight PCs, 1 Mac, Wi-Fi. http://www.surfdaweb.com
* Computer Express, upstairs from I Scream in Cruz Bay, and across from Fred's.
$3 for 15 minutes on their PCs, $5/day on your laptop. http://www.computer-express.vi/
* Quiet Mon Pub, above La Tapa and next to Woody's. http://www.quietmon.com/
* Bringin' the Fun, next to Banana Deck, near Wharfside. Bringin' the Fun.
* EveryTing, gift shop/convenience store/snack bar at Gallows Point.
* The Tap Room, at Mongoose Junction. Free access. http://www.stjohnbrewers.com/
* Connections, downtown Cruz Bay http://www.connectionsstjohn.com/
* www.Donkeydiner.com in Coral Bay

I read recently that someone they used a laptop at JJ's, but haven't seen it on any "official" list.
