My husband and I will be in St. John the week between Xmas & New Year's. We have always come in the late spring or early summer. How crowded will restaurants and beaches be?

I can't speak directly about STJ, but in general the USVI is very busy at Christmas and New Years.

The island will be much busier than late spring, you will need dinner reservations for most every restaurant and parking in Cruz Bay will be tight.

Have a great time!
