Can anybody tell me how much more you will pay for a family of four for the all inclusive at the Wyndham Sugar bay resort for 7 days/6 nights?

Your best bet would be to call the hotel directly since they will have their current price list available to you.

Just a thought but is there any particular reason why you want to go all inclusive? You might want to research some of the posts on this forum about the pros and cons. There is so much to do and see on STT outside any hotel and in fact Sugar Bay is the only hotel which offers AI and they're phasing it out this year which will probably tell you something. Best of luck with your planning and, whatever you decide to do, enjoy your vacation!

No particular reason. I guess just curious as to how much. My guess is about 2000.00 maybe. Our plans are to totally explore the island and restaurants. My sister in law was trying to convince me to go all inclusive but we are only going to sleep there and maybe eat a few times there. I know some restaurants will be a little on the pricey side but so it is here in the us. We like to go different and were not hard to please. Thanks for the response though.

DON"T go with an all-inclusive. Soooo many great restaurants in STT to enjoy. That's one of the many things I look forward to when going!

There are indeed so many places to eat in STT and STJ. What it came down to for me was expense. It ended up being much more reasonable to do the AI since we stayed there for a big breakfast (if you pay as you go the buffet is like $20/pp!), explored the island(s) in the afternoon since the beach there is not so great, and then came back for a 3-4 pm burger or chicken sandwich at the pool grille, and then ate there for a late dinner. We ate at a different restaurant for two dinners of the week. We like our drinks 😉 so the AI paid for itself at nighttime. When we did the AI with the kids, it includes a GREAT Kids Club. It is really personal preference. The AI worked for us on a budget.

When hubby and I go back we will go with the AI - We think of it this way.

You are already at the hotel in the morning - eat breakfast.

Lunch out is cheaper in most cases then dinner - while you are out exploring have a snack or lunch. Some places will even pack you a picnic lunch for the day.

Having dinner at the hotel would have been nice. We spent a lot of time going thru the menu's, getting reservations where needed, etc. During the low season most high end places are closed.

Drinks at the Sugar Bay were $7.00 - for 6-8 oz drinks. We racked up a pretty size tab 🙂

Next time we will go for the AI - and will pick a couple of favorite restaurants in which to splurge.

Enjoy your trip!!

Jen

I agree with land locked. My bro comes down every couple of years or so and stays at sugar bay. has breakfest and dinner there. Is gone all day. The kids love it there. You do not have to get the all inclusive packace there . They offer both
