Has anyone seen a whale yet?

It's time to keep an Eagle eye out for them 😉

Good Luck *-)

We spot the Humpback Whales this time of year in the Caribbean. They come down to have their calves in the warm waters.

Hey, Captain:

You are one of the lucky ones, for sure(tu) I hope you had your camera ready!

We have been watching for years, but only see our playful dauphin in the pass. Maybe this year will be our lucky year, finally;)

Good luck - to all of you watching - especially on the full moon(tu)

Andaste,

No camera, not even on a boat. My wife and I were sitting on the wall at the Trunk Bay overlook, taking in the view and she says " is there a rock out there" pointing towards the north most bouy at Johnsons Reef and what appeared to be waves crashing. We got out the binoculars and spotted the whales. 2 Mega yachts did u-turns to watch. They were there for about 20 minutes then headed out towards Little Tobago. My first whale sighting.

Captain,

Something fabulous always happens when you least expect it :S

I am really glad you at least got to see them and had binoculars with you.

I bet the yacht folks got their camera's out and had a real treat;)

Oh you lucky duck(tu) I hope you have a vehicle to show them around the island! Take your time and stop at all the overlooks so your parents can gasp at all the island views. Skinny Legs is a great spot to stop for lunch. They make the best island hamburgers, plus other goodies on the menue. They also have a nice shops to get shirts and stuff.

Don't forget to take lots of memorable pictures of your travels;)

Have fun and remember to stay on the left*-)

Thanks!! I can't fall asleep because I am getting so excited 🙂 I love skinny legs that is going to be one of our 1st stops, well after vie's of course. Her coconut tort is calling my name now. I can't get enough of it. It is -2 in the Chicago area tonight and we are expecting more snow. SO it is time to head south for sure. We do have 2 jeeps we are renting. My husband is driving one and I the other. My parents aren't old clucks but just want them to get used to driving on the left. You know those darn tourist 🙂 haha!!! I will pay closer attention to the sea glass while I am there and report back to you with any luck. Last time I took 360 pictures so I am going to try to narrow it down this time (yeah right). Too many beautiful things. Well keep your fingers crossed our plane takes off due to the inclement weather we have been having. I'll have my eye on the sea glass for you Andaste!!!

Warm Wishes,
Jen

I hope you folks got out ok and don't have to worry about weather any more. For all of you who are already down there - you are soooooooo lucky:D

Anyway, I hope you all have a perfect vacation with your folks. Eat - drink - and be merry*-)

Watch for the Green Flash - it's Good Luck for a lifetime, if you happen to see it(tu)
