Good mornin' to ya.

We are going to book a trip on the Bad Kitty for Wed., August 6th. They said that currently they don't have any other takers for that day, but they will "start" a trip list for us. They need a minimum of 8 passengers to have the trip. So, if you are FUN people and want to join a couple of crazy HOKIES for some touring of the BVI's, PLEASE JOIN US! Check out the reviews on here for them and visit their website at www.calypsovi.com.

The Va Tech connection alone give you credibility with me! You have friends on STT!!! Unfortunately peasants like myself need to keep their nose to the grindstone . . . have a wonderful day trip!

traveldukes,

my wife is a JMU/UVA graduate - I am a MD fan school of hard knocks in USCG

your first trip to the vi?

if bad kitty does not work out - recommend nauti nymph
ask for Capt Calvin
book the boat and you can find some one at Woody's or Molly's that will join in.

My son lived in the VI and did the day sail mate routine
Calvin and him are very good friends
We used him last trip in Feb - Great Fun - Great Capt

Son now lives in Alaska - that is our trip for the summer
Blue water - just a little colder

We've been to USVI before om a cruise stop and feel in love with St. John and have wanted to go back ever since. The nauti nymph also looked cool, so I will keep your suggestion in mind.... and we surely will make an appearance at Woody's shortly after we arrive. Since you have a "link" to the boating world - My husband and I are VERY interested in doing a Moorings charter out of Tortola two years from now. We have wanted to do that for a number of years now and are excited about nailing down some plans. Are you familiar with them at all?

So you married a wahoo..... oh geez. 😉 Just please tell me that you haven't been to a ballgame and had to stand to sing the good ole song. I'd have to take all your boating advice with a grain of salt then. Just kidding - I love all the info I can get.

Take care,
traveldukes

you know we may want to notify the local authorites that there will be an inordinate amount Hokies on island that week

How to identify a hokie:
They wear colors that do not match, always have VT on some part of clothing, they make lots of noise, and constantly talk about football... 😛

Warning to other vistors - better get to Woodys early for seat - Hokies love cheap alcohol 😉

If they start doing the Hokie Cheer - 😮 It means you should have a called the police 15 minutes ago...

:@)

The hokies are coming oh my... the hokies are coming oh my.....

You all are totaling cracking me up! Yes, these Hokies will be at Woody's for happy hour... and anytime my husband gets around people who notice his VT stuff, football is the hot topic, and depending the amount of alcohol dserved - we will probably start doing the hokie cheer.... just HOW did you know? But, I simply do not get the part about non-matching clothes... maroon and orange were made to go together. Afterall, isn't that what colors God chose to decorate with in the fall?

All kidding aside, Fleeper - we'd love to have you join us on the 6th. And what's *evil finger tenting?* And Jennifer, if our trip somehow gets pushed back, then we can probably meet up on the kitty. Just email Sheree at calypsovi.com to set up what day you can go. She's been very nice.

We (fun couple) will be in St. John from August 2-9 and am looking to set up a BVI trip on one or more days that week. Bad Kitty looks like a great option -- does it require setting up a group in advance? Anyone on this forum still looking for another couple?

Hey Poncho!

So you are headed down to paradise one week from today. I'm jealous! We'd love to have you join us. Email Sheree at calypsovi.com and tell her you want to go on the Bad Kitty on August 6th. They need a minimum of 8 to go, and if you all join us and Fleeper, I believe that will give us 6... so I think we are good with a week and a half left to go. Everything I've read about this trip has me really excited for a great day!

Looking forward to it.
