Are you referring to Beach Villa in Great Cruz Bay? If so, yes I have stayed there. Let me know what questions you might have.

Hi Jeff,

Yes, it is the Beach Villa in Great Cruz Bay that we're staying at. Just curious on what the villa was like. I see that Mr. Schnell has done some remodelling. Were you there to see the work that was done? Also, we were wondering how the beach actually is, whether or not there's any snorkelling to be had. How far would you say the villa is from the Westin? What is the pool and hottub like?

Appreciate any feedback you can give. Thanks.

Hi Amy,
We stayed at Beach Villa in Dec. 1996, so the remodeling that Donald has done was probably after we stayed there. We thoroughly enjoyed this villa; it was wonderful to stay there. The beach is pretty small but you won’t find to many villas on St. John that are right on the beach. One of the reasons we choose Beach Villa was the fact it had it’s own beach. The snorkeling is not too good because of the lack of visibility. The villa is five houses down the beach from the Westin. The kitchen is very nice and we cooked most of our dinners at the villa. Two of the three bathrooms in the main house have outdoor showers that are pretty cool. The pool is nice to take a dip in after you go for a swim off the beach. The water was a little cold in Dec. but we still enjoyed it every day. Let me know if I can answer any more questions about Beach Villa or St. John, we have been there probably 7 or 8 times.

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for the info on Beach Villa. This will be our 6th trip to STJ so we're familiar with the island but it's nice to get some feedback on the villas. I'll post a message if I can come up with anything else to ask you.
