Okay, seriously...I've read on the forums about the high price of beer in St. John restaurants. What is the cost of a six-pack at the grocery?

We didn't buy beer on St. John, only St. Thomas and I thought it was very reasonable. A case of Michelob Ultra was about 22.00...I pay almost 21.00 here in the states.

St John is probably higher.

What got me was the price of a case of water, almost as much as beer.

Thanks, Connie. Really appreciate your response to my beer question. We will probably throw back a few during our November stay on St. John and trying to work out a budget now.

I believe my husband said he paid $12.99 for a 12 pack of Bud at Starfish Market on STJ this month. Like Connie, what got us was the price of bottled water! Ouch!
