There is not an "open container" law in the USVI. Legally you can be drinking alcohol while driving. This is not to be confused with meaning that it is OK to drive while drunk. There is still a blood alcohol limit and you should be cautious about driving while drinking or driving after drinking. Also be aware that we drive on the left side of the road here, so driving while intoxicated might have you making a wrong move in reflex and winding up in an accident.
