Daughters birthday is May 24th and that's the day we'll be headed to STT for a week.

Daughter has always thought her birthday was an "event", not just a birthday 😀

So far, I've gotten her a bathing suit that easy to pack, but does anybody have any ideas how to make this the event she thinks it is??

Keep in mind that her birthday always seemed to fall on Memorial Day and there was always so much going on that there were many years we did nothing but gave her some presents. Also, she's 29.

Right now she's counting on wearing a tiara the whole day, even on the plane and wants to go to Molly's and Duffy's that night to celebrate.

Connie,

You could book a spa day at Journeys Spa at the Wyndham. The two of you could get manicures, pedicures and an exfoliating body massage. You'll both be all fresh looking and your feet will look great in flip flops!

A 29 year old wearing a tiara at Duffy's late night might be mistaken for the Queen Mother on a Sat. Night 5/24 - the average age there is much younger.

Exit, I've been to Duffy's many times and I disagree with you. It's all ages and please remember that 29 is not old at all.

I've seen all ages and if you get an average of 23 out of all those people that go there, I really have to disagree.

There's 12 of us and our average age will be around 35. So, on May 24th come on out and see if you meet that average.

Connie - my perception- I humbly stand corrected - Sat. late night has always looked like a very young crowd to me with many of our HS and college local youth.

Connie,

I'm 39 and my husband 49. We've never felt too old to have late night drinks at Duffy's. We've never closed the place, so I don't know what the crowd is like at 3:00 AM. We even stayed out past midnight in January after our condo association meeting with friends ranging from their 40's into their early 70's. One of the best times yet that we had at Duffy's. See you in a couple of weeks!

Yeah Molly...we've never closed the place either. Never felt uncomfortable with the age of the crowd there. Their ages seemed all over the place.

Amazing that you stayed out after midnight!! Sounds like me, but I'm going to do my best down in the Islands. It's tough to keep up with the 20 year olds.
