we will be in St. Croix in June, and are wondering if there is a boat to take us over to St. Thomas. We would like to go over for a day if possible.

Yes, by June the ferry should be operational. Later this month go to the top of this page and click on "Ferry Schedules" and you will likely see updated information including the hours, cost and contact information to make a reservation. The ferry is not yet operational so the information has not yet been updated on this site -- Stay Tuned!

I just read that the St. Thomas-St. Croix ferry will begin operation on February 15. The only schedule posted thus far is for the first week-end of operation. The roundtrip fares are $78 for adults, $73 for seniors, $68 for children 3-11 and students with ID, and $28 for children under 3. The website is www.islandlynx.com
