It's inexpensive, clean, well run, but not a great location at night....don't get me wrong, it's not like Detroit at night, or anything, but it is just a block North of Back Street...great for going to town in the daytime...just a little shady at night.....Yep, I'd stay there...Bunker Hill Hotel

Stay at the Galleon House instead. It isn't too far from Bunker Hill, they charge about $110/night and it's a lot closer to downtown.. right up the hill from the post office. You also get a free home-cooked breakfast!

I was just at Bunker Hill and I concur with the messages above. It has 22 rooms, is relatively clean and a very friendly staff, but it is not the safest area. I went to a restaurant and they were shocked that I was staying there and advised me not to walk back alone.

Also, note that their website says there is wireless internet but it is only in the office.
