I have been researching what place would be best for us to stay and it looks like Chenay Bay Resort is it. My question comes as which room to get.....I usually look into the more reasonble room rates so we can stay a few nights longer (looking to do 9 days/10 nights) rather than the luxury room for a week). I've been reading on Trip Advisor (I try to take all reviews with a grain of salt) and the folks on there say there is a big difference in the rooms as far the oceanview rooms being more updated. We plan to spend very little time in the room anyway and I just want to hear if anyone has any insight. As long as things are clean and has the kitchenette and A/C (and TV for my boys), we will be happy campers. To me 10 days is just perfect and can do without all the bells and whistles. Thanks!!!!

This villa is a charming 1-bedroom condo villa in West Indian Style cottages on the East End of St. Croix. The condo villa includes full size kitchen, king-size bed, spacious living room and dinning area with beautiful island furnishings. This villa is centrally located just five minutes east of "Christiansted" the main town with supermarkets, delis, bank, post office, and Laundromat with drop-off service. Also the villa is approximately 10 to 15 minutes west of the Casino Resort. The local favorite restaurant is within walking distance along with other restaurants and beaches less than a quarter mile away from the property. The villa can occupy a max of 4 adults. The amenities include cable TV, CD and stereo, air conditioner and ceiling fan, local telephone, sofa bed, and swimming pool.

The view overlooking the private balcony offers a beautiful tropical garden and a large pool deck area with three gazebos provides a relaxing setting under the gorgeous Caribbean sun or the dazzling moon and stars. It's the perfect base for a great vacation where the eastern ocean breeze beckons from beyond.
