Hello to all of you. We are so excited to be coming back to the virgin islands. My question is this, we want to buy some water bottles in Houston Tx. after we clear the security check point and put them in our carry-ons.We didn't have a problem with it last year. But this year we have a connecting flight at Luis Munoz in Puerto Rico .It's all one flight through continental and cape air . Are we going to have to go through another security check point ? I think both flights are in the same terminal. Thanks for any info. bill and lisa

We didn't need to go through security again in San Juan.

If you don't change terminals you shouldn't have to go through security again at SJU. I'd double check to see if Continental is in the same terminal.

Special TX water? Seems like the bottled water we buy in the islands works just fine.

You will need to go from the continental gate which is at the end of one terminal and walk down and make a left. You will walk down and then make another left and then go down stairs. Cape is around the corner. You never go outside security so whatever you have on the Houston flight you can take with you. Remember that Cape runs small planes. A eight seater. So you will fly about 3- 4000 feet and and is it quite noisily. but is a nice flight in that you are pretty low. .

Once you get to STT you wil go into the terminal right by where the flight arrives. You luggage will come out almost right away. So there is an advantage to flying cape. You will go out of the terminal amd make a left and then walk down to where the cabs are or the rental cars.

Have a a great trip.

I would suggest purchasing a re-usable Nalgene or like brand. Throw it in your suitcase, its one else thing to carry.

Special Texas water? Hummmmm, never had any and I am from there......
Of course I drink a gallon of water per day, so I could not carry enough water down with me.
I have flown on Continental with connection via Cape Air.
Follow built's direction about getting to Cape Air from Continental.
And no matter what, do not go out through the exit door - as you will have to come through secured area.
Ask for assistance if you get lost, but what ever you do, do not go out of the exit door.
Enjoy your flight on Cape Air - it is awesome!!
