Has anyone been to Coral World? I had some friends that went there and said that the marine life displayed were a must see.

Yes Nathalie Coral World is great. Many would say if you have the ocean all around you why not just go snorkeling or diving. Well it turns out that while snorkeling is wonderful, you will never see all the marine life that Coral World exhibits in a snorkel trip. Coral World is also great for kids. I went to Coral World before going on a snorkeling trip, it really helped to get me familiar with the marine life I would see while snorkeling. If you go to Coral World you can snorkel at Coki Beach right next to it. Hope the info. helps.

My 8 year old loves Coral World. It is kid friendly. He likes the touching part of the "zoo" and then we change into our swimsuits and snorkle just off the shore of Coki. He likes that when we sprinkle crackers (take them with you in a zip lock) in the water the friendly reef fish swim right up to us. He does not have to go deep to see great fish. It is really fun for kids. An admission ticket gets you into the park, and the right to return to change clothes and shower after visiting Coki beach.

The beach is not that great compared to others--but it is good for kids. It is crowded.

Check out Water Island for very nice beaches and pristine waters for snorkling.
