I'm staying at Blazing Villas during my first trip to St. Thomas in March. Is this a good hotel? I'm going to spend time with my boyfriend and want to be in a place where there are activities a plenty as well as opportunities for solitude and together time. Also, is this hotel near the surf break and should I bother bringing my surfboard in March? Thanks!

To Beachgirl-
Blazing Villas are in the Pineapple Village area of the Grand Renaissance complex. Very private with your own walled courtyard. They are very close to everything in the complex(closer than most of the Renaissance rooms). This is a nice complex. Water sports, pools, beach, tennis, nightly entertainment in the lounge and etc. Forget the surfboard....nearly useless.....the time you have scheduled for surfing allot it to the boyfriend...it will be more productive!!! Good luck!! We will be living just down the side walk from you.
