Hi all! I have a question....does anyone know the hours for customs? I'm guessing that the ferry schedules run based on those hours of operation. I'm looking to go to Jost Van Dyke from STJ on a Saturday or Sunday and just want to make sure that is possible. Thanks for any input.

There is a link on this site that has the Ferry Schedule ( https://www.vinow.com/general_usvi/interisland_ferry/) but Jost van Dyke customs is open until 4:30pm everyday and the West End Tortola Customs is usually open until 6pm. Both places open around 8am, give or take.

If you are coming into JVD via the ferry the custom agent opens up for the ferry passengers and you will be checked in then.

If the small customs building on the dock looks closed - wait - the agent will get there in a few minutes.

With all due respect that's a silly response based on the OP's legitimate question.

I apologise if I was not clear... my experience taking the Sunday ferry from St John to Great Harbor in November was this
ferry arrives with 8 or 10 passengers
small customs building is completely closed up
we all start to leave the dock to walk toward town
a cab driver tells us to wait - that someone wil come
after a 5 to 10 minute wait the agent arrives and processes our papers outside the building
