disclosure: i did her web site a long time ago when the person she paid to handle this left town with her money. i was introduced to her by a friend who thought i could help, and i did. in exchange, she started my locks, and i have been wearing them since 2006.
Ah, so the OP has braids which need fixing? Now I understand. Was trying to figure out why dreadlocks would need fixing and how they'd be fixed!!
oh, dreadlocks can get a bit to' up over time... ends ragged, stray tresses, beedeebees at the back, and the odd "rebel" that refuses to conform. also, at the scalp they really should be twisted or interlocked, depending on hair texture. and of course, conditioned. conditioning is nice.
i have all of those! and there is nothing like having someone do this from up above, where everthing may be seen clearly. there's also some pretty nice styling that can be done. many people like to have an updo for special occasion, or have them tightened and pulled back.
ladi rainbow does both dreads and braids. and she does some beautiful precision work. while getting mine done, i observed some really lovely stylings... she has a real talent and i am not just saying that because she did mine. i am saying it because she is gifted.
