OK, last long 🙁 day at work before the trip!! I'll be packing in a fury tomorrow, so this is my goodbye poem just a tad early!

Suitcase is full; our tickets are in hand
Show me the ocean, I’m sick of this land!
Done so much planning my mind is numb
When I land in STT, show me the rum!
Passports arrived after numerous calls
Get me out of this office, I’m climbin’ the walls
I “get” St. John, White Bay has no dock 🙂
When the Marriott room is a rockin’, you better not knock!
Thanks to all on this forum we will shop and dine like a pro
However, to do that we’ll need lots of dough!
Cinnamon, Waterlemon, Sandy Spit and Trunk Bay
Keep my clothes on at Salomon, at least during the day 😉
The CA ferry is running or maybe it’s not
Keep the Caribe in the koozie cause it’s damn hot!
Get my spices from Ruth and painkillers from Soggy
The only thing I’ll miss at home is my poor little doggy
Planes please be on time, wanna get there in a hurry
Say hello to the islands and GOODBYE TO MISSOURI!

I was born and raised in Missouri. I moved from there to islands and found a lot of Missourians there as well! We have since moved back to the states (Atlanta). I can't wait to start planning my vacation to St. John. I love your poem! May I borrow it? We are halfway to our Marriott points to get a week's stay, maybe by next year! The poem fits us as well. 🙂 Have fun!

Teresa

Teresa - A fellow person that has lived in Misery (Missouri)!! Of course you can use the poem! We are staying at the Marriott for 5 out of 7 nights with MarriottPoints, so that was 4 years of saving to get us here! We also have 3 out of 4 of our flights paid by AAdvantage FF points. So this is just a dream to have it all coordinate for very close to a "free" family vacation!

Now if this afternoon at work will just fly by....

Your vacation is near and now you can't wait
Set the alarm for the morning...don't want to be late
The Island(s) await you, they call out your name
Hope your trip's better than my poem and it's not nearly so lame 😉

AWW! I'm so glad "Chris at Work" isn't really working 🙂 I also can't remember the last time someone wrote a poem for me!
