Estate Tabor & Harmony, East End, USVI - St. Thomas, Caribbean

Fifteen of us will soon be departing for St. Thomas, staying at a villa----Estate Tabor & Harmony, East End, USVI - St. Thomas, Caribbean. Villa listing states it is ten minutes from Red Hook and Maegan's Bay. Curious as to whether or not a car rental is a wise investment, I want to see the island in the most affordable way. Is it true Taxi's charge by person? Any estimate of how much a 10 minute cab ride from a villa overlooking Tutu bay to Red Hook would run? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!!!!!! 🙂

Renting a car (or two or more for your large group) is a must. Taxis do charge per person and I would estimate that from Harmony to Red Hook will be around $11 per person. If you scroll down on "St Thomas" top of this page you'll find the taxi rates under "Transportation".

If it is the 7 bedroom villa with the infinity pool, I've stayed there twice. You need a car. Happy to answer any questions you have.
