How did that full moon look last night (1/29/10)...shining on that beautiful Caribbean water? I looked at the Chocolate Hole web cam last night and at first couldn't understand why it was so bright. Then I saw the moon out my window...shining on the cold snow way up in my northern latitude. Can't wait for our trip down there this Summer!

This was called a "Wolf Moon" - - it is as close to the earth as it gets all year -- so was known in the Amerindian culture as the "Moon of the Wolf" because of the unusual brightness. And Yes it was truly a beautiful reflection looking out from the mountain across the sea last night.
