Hi. I'm new to the board and planning my first St. John trip, but I think I've done my homework and checked the FAQ as well as searched the Forum and can't seem to find the answer to the following:

When I arrive at the St. Thomas airport, I have the option of taking the ferry from either Charlotte Amalie or Red Hook. Both involve taking a cab from the airport. Which is the best choice?

If your plane is on time, you should have no trouble making it to CA by 5:30. If you get carsick, it might be worth it to pay a little extra for the cab ride (assuming you can't get a full cab). Our driver took us from CA to the airport with only 4 people and it wasn't too pricy.
