Is there a yoga studio in Coral Bay? Also, is there someplace in Coral Bay I can get a manicure before my wedding, or do I have to go to Cruz Bay or the Westin? 🙂 43 days til St John and my toes in the water.........dancing at Skinny Legs and having the time of my life!

Dig it,redhead57. Sorry I can't help you with the manicure thing, but congrats on the wedding all the same. My fiancee, another couple, and myself will be staying in a villa over Coral Bay the same week. We've been to st.john a number of times, yet never stayed in Coral Bay.Her birthday is the same night as the full-moon on the 20th, so fun will be had by all!!! P.S. We're officially 44 days, and holding...

Yoga at Concordia 🙂

I do not think there is a nail tech in CB - I know one opened in the Cocoloba complex but I think they closed down but I really should go check it out today 🙂

Hey mahojim,

We stayed in Cruz Bay the 1st year we went to St John, but found Coral Bay to be more our style.......quieter, empty beaches, and just more laid back. Where are you staying? I hope you enjoy it...........and the car ride to the other side of the island is just part of the adventure!!

Thanks for the best wishes...........we are getting married on the beach at Francis Bay. We are old folks............all our kids will be there and good friends..... we can't wait!!!

We're staying at Seabiscuit villa through Great Caribbean Getaways. There are limited photos of it on the net, but it looks perfect for our party of four. It's evidently within walking distance of "downtown"- Skinny's and such,as well. I've been to Coral Bay a number of times, and you're right-less congestion, and DEFINATELY more laid back. Also less threat of a taxi taking off our side rearview mirror! (That happened to me @ 3 years ago-scary!) Three more inches over and they'd be calling me "Lefty"! The majority of our stays were on the Cruz Bay end, but we're usually in bed(or at least back at the villa) by 10-11:00 anyway, so it's not like we'll be missing any kind of nightlife. Great choice for a beach wedding, by the way! I've been to Trunk a few times when wedding parties rolled through, and as lovely as it probably was for them, from an outsider, it just seemed like there were more than a few nosey strangers watching. Our countdown is t-minus 38 days, as we land on the 19th of April, and I can't wait. If I happen to see you and yours at Skinny's, redhead57, the first one's on us! Where are you staying?-My best
Jimmy

Hi Jimmy,

We also arrive on the 19th, although we're trying to switch flights and get in a day earlier. We fly from Boston. We are staying at Villa "in the Stars" There are 11 of us there and 8 more staying in a couple of other villas in the Caroling area. MY sister is staying at Spyglass, which I think is right above where you are staying...... We are spending a week with our kids and friends and then they all go home and we'll have a 2nd week to ourselves of honeymooning.

We will definitely be at Skinny's on Saturday night....past visits have always included Skinny's on Sat night. They have a band, kind of a folky/blue grassy type that starts early ( good for us old folk.) and we always enjoy it.....don't know if they still play.....but can't wait to find out. Introduce yourselves, for sure! I'll be the old Redhead! with the silver haired groom to be.

...counting the days!!!
Cheers,
Maggie
