Does anyone know if there's still a man that sells, I'm assuming fake designer bags in Charlotte Amalie? I believe he was under a tent. If so is there a way of getting in touch with this man? I bought a few 5 years ago, they are so well made, I love them.
Thanks

I believe you are referring to one of the 'tents' in "Vendor's Plaza"? If so, other than going there and talking to each one and getting their contact info, I am not aware of any way to contact them. Maybe through Department of Lcensing and Consumer affairs?

Most of those guys are still there, or if not them directly, one of their relatives/representatives should still be there.

I know most of them - is there anything in particular you're looking for? I generally see them every Saturday.

I'm going to be on St Thomas in January, I'm glad to hear they are still there! I have a lot of friends that are interested in these purses. The problem is I don't just want to buy what ever I think my friends would like. I was wondering if the guys that sell these purses could send some pic's to me so my friends could see what they look like. Not a big deal if they can't, I'm just so happy they are still around 🙂
Thanks for your help!!

Uh, customer service isn't their strong suit, so I doubt they could send photos. Besides, the styles are subject to change, so there's no guarantee they'd have a particular bag when you get here, and there are so many of them, that you'd have too many pictures to sort through before you got here.

Most people check the designer's websites (Coach, etc), to get an idea of the latest styles, then look for them once they're here.

I kind of thought that would be the case. Oh well, my friends will survive with what I pick out for them.
Thank you for your help!!

Not trying to be argumentative, but why not buy the real thing and support the company spends all the money on the research and advertising instead of the guy that just knocks them off. Hope you're not subject to customs exam.

I'm only posting this because in my business I am very protective of my clients branding.

why not go there and take pics your self and emai the to your friends to pick then you can pick up what they want before you head to the airport the last day.
