Thats great news for the people on vacation in STT this week. We will be there a week from this Sunday so keep your fingers cross that the Sun stays shining for us. Coming to Marriott Frenchmans Cove Sunday Oct. 5th can't wait.

For the most part a sunny day today. 🙂 Some areas this morning were still a bit overcast with a little rain, but later in the day it was clearing up.

Too bad we both are on quick trips no time to deal with rain or clouds. Every vaca i took so far this year weather was bad. I went to Georgia this summer and was expecting sun and hot and it was not really either, rain & clouds and lightening the whole trip, then same thing I went to Florida in August exact same weather can you imagine. So I desperately need a few days on the beach with sunshine. My husband will also say he was right that Aruba is better because of the weather and I don't know which will be worse the weather or having to hear he was right LOL!!!!

awwwww My husband and I are coming to st thomas on sun sept 28 till sat oct 4th we are staying at the marriott for our 28th anniversary. I thought it was always sunny in st thomas!!!! I got a great deal on airfare so I didnt really look at the weather. Is it usually rainy this time of year? I have been to st thomas twice but both times on a cruise and in feb , the weather was beautiful. Cant wait to go!
Will just pray for sunshine.

You may have some rain, the amount we've had the last week is unusual. This is low season for a reason; you shouldn't expect Jan-Feb weather. It's still paradise. I'm here now and having a wonderful time.

I did the same thing I didn't really research the weather this time of year in STT before I booked it. We usually go once a year to Aruba and I wanted to try another island I had always heard it was beautiful and I have always wanted to visit STJ also. I know people say it is still a great place but we are not the type that really enjoy a vacation without Sunshine. I am really worried we really need a few days of just relaxing in the sun on the beach and swimming in the ocean. I wouldn't even go out if it was pouring rain i would probably just stay in the hotel, maybe do some shopping & go out to eat but we are coming for the beach & Sun.

Hey Alspal2 we arrive just after you leave we are coming Oct. 5th thru Oct. 9th and boy do we need a vacation both of us having been working crazy hours at work and we have a few teenagers at home it was a long summer with them so we need a break i'll pray for you to have good weather and you do the same for us!!!

I was sitting at the Beach Bar this afternoon (for way to long) and saw it rain on STT 3 TIMES...and not on St. John. We are getting a rain just now, as I type, on Gifft HIll, but I hope it is gone tomorrow and replaced by sunshine.
