Hey folks!

I haven't posted in a while since you guys / gals were so helpful a month or so back. My wife and I will be there Saturday (March 1st) and can hardly wait!!!!! I have most of our plans "loosely" made but had a little problem in the area of a good place to para-sail. Our plans are very flexible so I wanted to ask if anyone had a good idea of where to direct us for a good time para-sailing. We will be staying on STX but plan on day trips to STT and STJ so any location is good. Neither my wife or I have ever did this, so are a little anxious but ready to take the plunge.

Also, we will be staying at Carambola and renting a car. Neither of us are avid drinkers, but hey... we are looking forward to a tropical drink or three. Any suggestions for a nice laid back bar for an old married couple.

Waaaay back in the 70's was my last visit to the islands and I remember the steel drum bands. Back in the day, they would set up on the street corner in town and jam away. Do they still have groups doing this or this a thing of the past???

For those who helped with my inquiries about my grandfather, thanks again. I was able to find all the information needed to visit his grave site.

Thanks!!!

Indydon

Down to the wire! I know you will enjoy your visit! Tho I have been to STX a couple of times, I know nothing as far as information. There are plenty of laid back places to go and have a relaxed drink, that I know for sure!
I know that in STT, you can go para-sailing out of Sapphire Beach and this beach is a nice place to hang out as well.
Have a wonderful time and I am happy that you will be able to get to your Grand Fathers grave.
Enjoy!
