I never in my life thought that one short cruise ship shore excursion and later a one week vacation to a place would have such an impact on me.

I am soooo missing STJ right now. I am craving a visit to Shela's, and the Tourist Trap, and Big Belly Deli. I am dying to sit in the shade on Lameshur and listen to the waves roll the pebble around. I want to sink my toes into the creamy sand at Hawksnest and Maho. I want to relax with friends and soon-to-be-friends at the Beach Bar with a Painkiller or two.

If you are reading this, and have NOT been to the VI, prepare for "changes in attitude" - possibly life-altering changes.

If you have been there, you know what I mean.

This post made my day. I started the Beach Bar with Allan and I designed the logo, signs and all the t-shirts (& if you have a koozie from the Beach Bar, on it you will see a small credit with my name). Last year I created and launched the Tourist Trap with Larry & his brother James. To have you choose my two places as inspiration for your "dream" bar is very humbling! What a compliment, thanks so much! Your bar looks GREAT!!! Drop me an email and let's see if I can't send you some decor for your bar! -cheryl geller
