hi all, i was wondering if anyone an give me the name of the horsebacking riding place on st john, and was wondering which one people prefered, the place on st. thomas or the one on st. john. which one gives you more freedom with running and stuff. any info would be great thanks ,scooby

I've never been to either, but the one on St. John is Carolina Corral. Check out: http://www.st-john.com/trailrides/

Hello Scooby,

The horseback excursion place on St. Thomas closed a couple years ago, it was called Half Moon Stables. (The stables are still there but they operate as a Retirement Facility for race horses and also were offering summer camp and lessons for kids.) I don't know of any others on St. Thomas.

Is that the one you are refering to, or do you know of another one?

hi islander, ya that was it, half moon. thats great for the race horses. i will have to check into the place on st john. thanks all for the replies, scooby
