On my way to work on the 26th the temperature here was 18 degrees Farenheit which reminded me of STT at 18 degrees latitude. I finished the three projects on my desk then called our friends at cheapcaribbean.com and about 5 the next afternoon G and I were sitting at Funji's in STT. This was a zip trip so we only had six days but we did get to see a lot of our friends on island. I even got to meet the famous Ana and now know that the fish & chips are Friday nights only - I hate that I missed them but for sure next trip. The weather was terrific and our condo at Pointe Pleasant was super with a view that could be on postcards. Temps were in the 80s during the day and we both managed to get plenty of sun. The full moon hit right in the middle of our stay and it was beeea-u-ti-ful especially from our table at Mafolie Saturday night. For absolutely no planning and only 12 hours to get packed and on the road this was one of the best trips yet. What a way to beat the winter blues. 🙂

I wish I could do such things... maybe one day I'll be able to be spontaneous. Right now I'm anything but that... but I keep focusing on my 11/10 sailing trip in the BVI's. It keeps me going when we are expecting round three of the snow that won't go away. This winter has been ridiculous! Anyway, great for you - I hope you had a drink for me at Fungi's! (We stayed at Point Pleasant last year.)
