Is it wrong that, today while I was in line at CVS, I took great joy in the stinkeye looks I got from people when they saw me buying all sorts of suntan lotions?

Hehehe!

Less than 2 days baby!!!

Of course not ;), did you reply to the looks by saying "yeah I am going to the islands".

LOL. Have fun finishing up your packing and a great time on your vacation!

Yeah - I've on occassion worn a Tommy Bahama shirt to work in January and responded to the snide remarks with "The tropics is a state-of-mind"!

It's been so warm here, I 'm ready to go tan on my own lawn!

What kind of Christmas is THIS? Let it snow - let it snow - let it snow!!!

but it's Los Angeles. Had three cold days in the very low 60's during the day and very high 30's at night.

That's what we call cold. Warming up today.to the mid 70's.

My bags are packed! I am almost there.

Never thought it would be such a hassle to get a cab to the airport at 4:30am! But, since it's Christmas Eve, they are all a tad busy. After the 4th call, we found one. But I'm not quite confident.

That's okay. I checked us in online earlier, I have boarding passes. I've had 2 glasses of wine. Need I say more?

Great news. We were invited to a Christmas Eve party by a wonderful man that Mr. Richmond has purchased jewelry and watches from in the past. Apparently, there will be teenagers there! Never saw my daughter look more relieved in her life.

When I return, I will post my trip report. A trip report from a lazy person. No, "we hiked along a beautiful trail, blah blah blah...". More like, " so, the bartender at the Marriott lobby bar is a real b**ch, but the one at the pool rocks! Had room service every morning, they need to work on the hollandaise a bit, but the Bloody Mary's are yummy!"

I'm so happy, I am crying.

Merry Christmas all! Blu, you know how happy I am and why. Thanks for letting me "vent".
