To all the weather buffs, the travelers caught in rain and all the other wonderful people on this board I just wanted to give you a slight dose of weather reality from Vermont. It's 30.2 degrees, the wind is howling, the leaves are falling and it's SNOWING! We received over an inch of snow last night and it's not stopping. We haven't seen the sun in 13 days and it's not even Halloween yet.
I'd take a rainy, windy 70-80 degree day on an island any day over what we are dealing with.
Enjoy the islands and remember it could be a lot worse (not just here in Vermont but Florida, Louisana, Mississippi, etc.)
107 days and counting....to 10 days in paradise regardless of weather, it's outta here!

Hi Jill, see my own post in the Maho Bay thread regarding snow- we were driving through western Mass over the weekend and it was snowing in North Adams!!! Yuck. We've had the same nasty, gloomy weather in the Boston area for way too long. Sorry, but for us its only 9 days till STJ!!! Try a tanning booth, I started that yesterday and the fake sunshine really lifted my spirits.

Karrieb, 9 days congrats.....my only relief right now is we leave for a cruise in 8 days, so I've already hit the tanning booth and that definately helps with the spirit lifting. We ended up with 6 inches of snow and lots of downed trees, some are still without power however we lucked out and have ours. Have an awesome trip to STT, I can't wait for ours in Feb. Jill
