Just wondered what Little Magen's Bay was like now? It has been several years since I have been there and will be in St Thomas while on a cruise next Wednesday and wondered whether it is worth it to make the trek over to Little Magens?

Also, has anyone been to Water Island? I have thought about going there for something different to do.

Hi
My husband and I were at Megans Bay a couple weeks ago.. he had thought for a moment he might venture over to Little Megans... however.. that thought was short lived.. it seems quite treacherous to get over there...perhaps better at low tide.. I dont know... but for us.. sure was not worth the effort. Good luck in your effort...! And enjoy if you do get there. 🙂

There is a path from the Peterborg road to get down to Little Magens via a trail but personally I think you should treat yourself to a trip to Water Island which is absolutely gorgeous - and with facilities too. Have a wonderful day here. Cheers!

Water Island has much to offer for Day Trip or to stay for the whole week. If you're coming just for the day, check out the ferry schedule on this web site (VINOW.com), take the dollar ride or a taxi to Crown Bay Marina, couple of cold drinks at Tickles while you're waiting for the WI Ferry to take you over to Water Island. You can pick up some drinks & sandwiches at Gourmet Gallery(next door to Tickles) if you have a small cooler or you can get great burgers, chicken sandwiches, ceasar salad, etc. at Heidi's on WI/Honeymoon Beach. Joe's Beach Bar, also on WI/Honeymoon Beach serves excellent frozen drinks. Honeymoon Beach is beautiful, quiet on weekdays and local residents from WI & STT on weekends. If you like hiking, consider wearing comfy shoes and exploring Ft. Segarro (bring a small flashlight so you can explore the fort underground.
