I am most excited to be returning to the USVI again this year and have two questions-

Has anyone been to Mafolie Restaurant lately, is the food still good? I heard they changed chef's...

Also, who sells the best French Bread on St. Thomas any ideas???

Thanks much!

The Deli in French town sells it Frozen to bake at home or already baked. You go to the same counter as you would to order your sandwich.
Same French Bread served at formerly Alexander's now known as Bella Blu.

Hi, we went to the Mafolie Restaurant 2 weeks ago. Food was delicious - The lobster bisque was unbelievable! For entrees we had Tuna (spicy chili sauce - excellent) Mahi-Mahi and the cavatappi pasta with sausage. All were beautifully prepared & presented.

The bakery at Plaza Extra has some very good breads baked on premise.

We ate there last week and I'll agree that the views and the lobster bisque are spectacular....but that's where it ended for me. I had the veal and wasn't thrilled. My boyfriend had the lobster and it was overcooked. Also, our server was swamped and didn't pay a whole lot of attention to us.

Hope this helps!:-)
