Hello Bill,

You can take the ferry over for the day. If you enjoy taking walks you can walk around the island a bit, maybe up to the Fort or something shorter just to look around. You can hike to Limestone Bay, its rocky beach so not much of a swimming beach but is neat for exploring the shore. And then head to Honeymoon Beach to swim and relax on the beach. Usually by noon, Heidi has her food van at Honeymoon and she has burgers, sandwiches, salads and drinks. Also Joe's Beach Bar is there and they have some small snacks but mostly drinks. On some days, I think Sundays, Joe's sometimes has live music in the afternoons around 4pm. You'd want to double check on that if you are interested. Take a look at a couple videos on Water Island from our Colors of Paradise TV show:

HIke to Honeymoon Beach, Water Island

and

Fort Segarra, Water Island

Thanks for the Info--The beach at Honeymoon on water Island looks similar to Secret Harbor.
