Having never been to St. John, if someone asked you were the most perfect wedding location would be what would you say?! We want to be married on the beach, prefer not a busy location. Does anyone have the most perfect spot on St. John to be married? We are staying in the Coral Bay area (February 2006)but are willing to move about. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jill

Jill....CONGRATS. We just got married last month on St John. We chose Truck Bay just before sunset. The place is incredible. We also stayed over in Coral Bay....GOOD CHOICE! That side of the island is far less crowded and more quiet than Cruz Bay. Let all of us on the message board know if you need anymore info. Everyone helped us out a ton before our trip.

Did you like staying in Coral Bay? What are some of the highs and lows of staying there? Who performed your ceremony and was it just the two of you or a larger crowd? I would love to hear more about your wedding on St. John. Thanks!

Will it be a private ceremony - just the 2 of you - or are there alot of guests? Do you want early morning on a beach? sunset? there are alot of beaches that would be great for just the 2 of you - you could go for a day sail and then pull into a secluded beach or if there are alot of guests you will need a beach that has easier access.

Just the two of us. We want simple yet elegant, not set on any particular time as we have all the time in the world when we are there. Obviously some beaches are better and different times of the day. We want to be able to access the location via jeep as he'll be there first then me to follow.

Jill. It was just the two of us and 2 of my wife's friends. She's a photographer and her husband. They doubled as our witnesses. We had the big recetion thing when we got home. Rev. Emmanuel Jaggernauth performed our service. Very nice island man.
