I just returned from a great trip to STJ and I'm already plannling another for next summer with my family (my daughter will be a senior this year) and a couple of other 18 year old girls. This villa looks great on the web, but does anyone have any first hand info?

As always, thanks for your help!

No info on the villa...

But, we've rented from Lisa at Vacation Vistas. We had a great experience and can highly recomend her. The business side of things was handled professionally. The pictures on her website fairly represented the villa - what you see is what you get. In fact, the pictures probably didn't do the villa justice.

Hope this helps a little.

Thanks for the recommendation, Bob. Which villas did you rent from them?

We have used Lisa @ Vacation vistas for the past three years at the opar villa. The property was well represented on the website and was always well prepared for our arrival. Lisa is very knowlegable about where to find the best of everything, and was quick to respond if any problems arose. We would rent from Lisa @ Vacation Vistas again.

Hope this helps!

I have not stayed here but this villa gets good reviews on various boards as does Vacation Vistas. About the only negative is a comment on the small pool. haven't seem a review of this house within the last 12 months.

We have also used lisa at vacation vistas for the last three years and would also highly recommend her. Last year she was on Holiday but she had a friend of hers meet us and it worked well too. We rented Splendore and the Peter Bay Gatehouse.

Splash...on the waterfront on Great Cruz Bay...

doesn't look like Lisa reps it anymore.

Donna,

Does Peter Bay Gatehouse or Splendore have ac? Which did you prefer? Or I guess a better question is, which of all you have rented is your favorite?

Thanks!

splendore had air conditioning but we were there in february and are from Wisconsin...so the fresh warm air felt great and we never used it. We were in the gate house twice and are planning on returning this year. It does not have air conditioning but we never needed it. We found spendore warmer with less wind. I miss the north shore. Enjoy the drive out.
