Hey All,

I am from the States, and my girlfriend from St.Croix. I am coming down to visit for the holidays this month, and I plan on asking her to marry me, but i obviously do not know the area well. Does anyone know the best beachside restaurant or view to pop the question? Of course any other ideas are welcome as well. Thanks in advance!

There's a jeweler commercial playing on TV these days about a proposal. A couple is walking around the city, and she keeps saying, "I remember this place," everywhere they stop. They head to a park bench and she says, "I don't remember this place." He replies, "You will," and gets down on one knee and asks her to marry him. Such a sweet ad. And it's true. Wherever you pick will provide a special memory.

My fiance proposed to me on the beach of the resort we return to each year. We were right near a rock that will forever be known as engagement rock.

If you are early morning people, I would suggest Point Udall at dawn, This is the easternmost point under the US flag. Likely you'll be there alone, so you will be the first 2 people in the US to see the sun on that particular day. Pretty romantic!!

Whatever you decide, I, myself would like somewhere private and quiet, preferably just the 2 of us..Not a restaurant full of people, etc...What do you think your girlfriend would prefer? Anywhere private with a beautiful view would work for me...What about a private sunset sail? That would be awesome...

I believe the best would be to take a sunset sail and then pop the question as your are served some bubbly!!!
