hello all! I'm in Iraq right now and will be for the next year. I was just wondering if anyone knows of a good place to stay. I will be on the island for at least 15days so I'm looking for something that's not going to break the bank! I will be there the beginning of June and I do not have my dates for sure but would like to start planing my trip now. I would also like to be walking distance from Captain mayhem's and fat turtle and all the other local hang outs. as I'm going to be looking for places to just relax and hang out with the locals and forget about going back to Iraq. Any help will be awesome... thanks

Did you look at Vacation Rentals?

Here's the link: http://caribbean.craigslist.org/vac/

There's really nothing that will be within walking distance of Captain Mayhem's or Fat Turtle - the island is very spread out where gathering places are concerned and you might want to figure in a car rental so you can explore at your leisure. Cheers!

Closest thing is Bellavista Scott Hotel. Maybe they have different prices now as this web site says 2001.

In June our two bedroom is only $100/night - pool, view, kitchen, free wifi. Look at www.stthomasvirginisland.com

A soldier, I'm assuming. Hopefully, someone can get him/her an excellent deal. 100.00 a night sounds great.

Good luck! You'll love it!

Just wanted to say thanks for serving. Have a great time while you're there. We're headed down for either 3 or 6 months the end of May. We'd be honored to take you out for dinner or drinks (your choice). PM me before you go.
