Trying to find out when Miracle on Main Street will be this year. Trying to plan vacation around it and not having any luck yet. Two years ago thought I had it and was a week off:(

You might try calling the Chamber of Commerce to see if they have any idea. If I had to put a bet down, I would say Friday the 18th.

I think Dec 11. The 18th is too close to Christmas.

That would be a Monday and isn't it usually on a Friday??? That's what makes me crazy about websites sometimes!

May I ask - What is Miracle on Main Street?

A street fair, sponsored by the Destination Downtown Committee of the St. Thomas-St. John Chamber of Commerce, brings “Miracle Special” shopping treats and the best in local entertainment, including dancers, steel bands, mocko jumbies galore, majorettes, choirs and art shows. Stores will stay open until 9 p.m.

I tried calling the "carnival committee" and they are closed until August 24! Meanwhile fares are going back up arrrgh! All of the bands were so much fun the one time we accidently went to it that I would love to go again.

It isn't put on by the Carnival Committee, but by the Chamber of Commerce: 340-776-0100 😉

I have now called the Marriott, their activities desk, the tourism committee and the chamber. The chamber seemed to think it may get scheduled sometime in October but I got the feeling he was just throwing out an answer. I'm not sure if I want to wait that long to make reservations so will have to wait and see I guess. Thanks for your help anyway....

Planning has always been a foreign concept here. I still stand by my original guess. 😉

FYI if anyone is still interested, I finally got through to the Carnival Committee who referred me back to the Chamber of Commerce who now say it will be Dec 11. I guess I'll take a chance and roll with that one as it sort of fits my schedule better and hopefully won't be disappointed Again when they move it! Love it once I get there but they don't make it easy 4 sure.

LOL about them moving it! Maybe you should come the 10th and leave the 19th! That way you'll hit both Fridays! :@)

And practice your: " Ho, ho, ho. How will Santa get here?"
