Hi there!

Anybody know of a decent place to get a massage in STT? I know most of the large resorts have spas (e.g. Marriott, Wyndam, Ritz-Carlton), which are all quite expensive. So, I was wondering if anyone knows of a nice, quality masseuse or a place where we can get a reasonably priced 50 min or 1 hr massage. We'll be honeymooning on STT next month, and we're trying to make it all about relaxation & fun. Thanks!

I can't think of anyone who does private massages on the island but I thought that I would give your post a "bump" in case someone out there knows someone. Personally, if it was my honeymoon I'd go ahead and get the expensive massage. You might as well break your husband in sooner or later if you like to be pampered.

We were in STT for my daughter's wedding in June and we got manicures and pedicures at the Spa in the Marriott. I was surprised that it really wasn't as glitzy as the other spas located in different Marriotts. After talking with them, I learned that they are privately owned. The owner was there before the Marriott was built and he has his own business, not part of the Marriott, so you couldn't charge to your room, etc. And their prices were very reasonable. Now, I can't remember if the actual spa was separate from the Nail Salon, so maybe that is a different story, we didn't get massages. Just thought I would pass this information along.
And I agree with IAMolly - splurge and pamper yourself! It's your honeymoon!!! Enjoy!

🙂 Nancy

Thanks "IAMolly" and Nancy. You both are probably right. If getting a massage on your honeymoon, you may as well get one from a pro in a nice resort setting. We're actually staying at the Marriott. So, it'll be most convenient to just use the Reef Spa.

Of course, if anyone out there has any other last minute suggestions please feel free to share. Cheers!

There are several private masseuses (sp?) on the island, and there are spas that aren't affilliated with the "major" resorts. You can get massages at Tillett Gardens (I think the number is 340-774-8044), there's Prana Spa at Yacht Haven Grande (don't have that number), and there's also a traveling masseuse who works out of Bluebeard's Beach Club. There are others, but these are the ones that I've noticed advertisements for.

There is a local massage business next to the FORD Dealership in Tutu across the street from the shopping center.
